Redevelopment Works At The Club

As part of the Club’s redevelopment and upgrading plans as approved by the membership, we shall be commencing the first phase of renovation works starting with the Clubhouse building. With works scheduled to be carried out between November 2019 and March 2020, certain facilities such as the swimming pool will regrettably have to be closed during this period.

The Project Team will do their best to minimize noise and dust pollution arising from the works, especially between the peak hours of 7am to 10am and from 4.30pm to 6.30pm each day. Appropriate signage will be put up at strategic points to direct Members and guests concerning access routes and the interim drop-off point to the Clubhouse.

During this period, we seek your understanding and co-operation as we look forward to the various improvements and upgrading of the club’s facilities. Background

KH Builders Pte Ltd was appointed the Main Contractor for Phase 1 of the Singapore Polo Club’s re-development project on 21 October 2019. Phase 1 will entail the renovation of the Clubhouse at a cost of $2.55 million. The budget for Phase 2 (A&A works at Sports Block and the staff quarters at the Stable Block) is $2.99 million.

The following timeline and scope of works in the attached documents encompass the change of use of the Squash Court to a Satellite Kitchen and the renovation of the Clubhouse. The Plan in Attachment 1 shows the Clubhouse renovation in phases and their duration.

Once again, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience that will inevitably be caused to members during this period due to the renovation works being carried out. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact the Club’s management.
